  • What are your hours of operation?

    Our dispatch office is open Monday - Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm; Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Our vehicles run 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. If you have an emergency or require immediate assistance after business hours our service will give you an emergency number to call.

  • When do my charges begin and end when renting a car?

    This is referred to as Trip Time and is based on the chauffeurs time of departure from our location until the return to our location.

  • What is your minimum hourly requirement?

    There is a three hour minimum in most cases such as nights out on the town and weddings. There are exceptions for Portland Jetport transfers and most corporate services. Please call us with specific questions regarding hourly minimums. Let us tailor the trip to your needs.

  • How do I know what size car is best for my needs?

    Cars are rated by the number of passengers they are allowed to hold. Safari Transportation has sedans (2-3 passengers), stretch cars (up to 6 passengers), super stretch cars (up to 10 passengers), SUV (up to 7 passengers), vans (up to 14 passengers) and super stretch SUV (up to 14 passengers). For the best comfort for your event you should subtract 2 from the above numbers (except for sedans). If you are booking airport transportation, please be aware of the size and amount of luggage your party has; if you have 8 people going to Logan airport with a lot of luggage you would want to consider using the 14 passenger SUV or our 14 passenger van for the most comfort.

  • How do I reserve a car?

    Simply call our office with a credit card number. For new customers your card will be charged on the date you book your trip. For established accounts in good standing, the trip will be charged once it is complete. If your trip requires a deposit, i.e. proms, weddings, special events, the deposit will be charged the day you book your trip. If you would like to pay by check we still need a credit card number to hold your reservation. All personal check payments must be received 10 days prior to your event. Please contact us for information regarding the establishment of a new corporate account.

  • Can I pay cash for the trip?

    Cash is always accepted; however we do need to have a credit card on file to hold a reservation.
